Merchant of Record: Paddle.com (Paddle Payments Ltd) acts as Merchant of Record for all purchases on DictaVox. Paddle collects payments, calculates and remits applicable taxes (VAT), and issues invoices. You contract with Paddle for the payment transaction and with Aurélien Jacak EI for the transcription service.
Paddle is PCI-DSS certified. DictaVox never stores banking data. Paddle's buyer terms apply to all transactions.
These Terms govern the use of DictaVox. Any use of the service implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
Each new user receives 120 minutes (2 hours) of transcription at registration, with no credit card required. These credits allow testing the service on your own files before any commitment.
Monthly subscriptions offer a fixed monthly quota automatically recharged each month on the subscription anniversary date.
Available plans (prices excluding taxes):
⚠ Important — monthly quota is NOT cumulative: subscription monthly quotas do not carry over from one month to the next. This follows industry standard (ElevenLabs, Claude AI, Midjourney): you pay for a fixed monthly quota, not unlimited accumulation.
Subscriptions are tacitly renewed each month unless cancelled before the anniversary date. Billing occurs automatically on the same day each month. The quota is recharged immediately after payment.
For EU VAT-registered businesses: enter your intra-community VAT number at Paddle checkout to benefit from reverse charge (excl. tax invoice).
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your customer area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your account automatically returns to the free plan.
DictaVox uses Mistral Voxtral AI, specialised for French. Quality depends on audio clarity, accents, and background noise. DictaVox does not guarantee 100% accuracy — human proofreading is recommended for critical uses.
Technical limits:
The user is solely responsible for the content of uploaded files. They guarantee having the necessary rights and complying with applicable laws. DictaVox cannot be held responsible for illegal use of the service.
DictaVox strives to ensure optimal availability 24/7 but does not guarantee 100% uptime. In case of prolonged interruption, subscribers may request a credit pro-rata to the downtime.
DictaVox reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified by email 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
All refunds are processed by Paddle.com directly to the original payment method. For any request: contact@dictavox.com.
In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription to a paid plan, provided the transcription service has not yet been used.
To exercise this right, email contact@dictavox.com within 14 days of your subscription date, without justification. Refunds are processed by Paddle within the legal timeframe (14 days maximum).
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content whose execution has already begun with your express consent.
By starting a transcription, you expressly acknowledge waiving your right of withdrawal for minutes already consumed. Only unused minutes may be eligible for a refund within the 14-day window.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refund is issued for remaining days, except where the 14-day right of withdrawal applies. After cancellation, your account reverts to the free plan.
Outside the statutory withdrawal period, refunds may be granted at our sole discretion in the following cases:
Refunds appear on your payment method within 5–10 business days. Paddle will send a confirmation email once the refund is initiated. Questions about a specific transaction: www.paddle.com/help.
DictaVox is a transcription service for professional uses involving sensitive data. Data protection is a design constraint, not a marketing argument. The best way to protect data is not to retain it unnecessarily — this principle drives all technical decisions.
